Behavioral Assistant (In-Home Services)

Awakening Change Counseling Services LLC is looking for Behavioral Assistants (BA) to provide clinically supervised, in-home, behavioral health interventions for youth, young adults, and/or their families/caregivers. The BA position will assist families with meeting the goals identified by the primary clinician with the goal of strengthening skills in a variety of life domains including, but not limited to:

1. Physical and mental well-being;
2. Interpersonal communications and relationships;
3. Social interactions;
4. Behavioral conduct;
5. Adaptive coping strategies and behaviors; and
6. Recreational/leisure activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop a behavioral assistance plan
• Provide individuals and/or families with supportive in-community interventions based on the agreed-upon care plan
• Adhere to established protocols (based on Medicaid guidelines and involved stakeholders ie – Children System of Care).
• Work in collaboration with all service agencies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Behavioral Health, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years working with youth and families
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current insurance
• Must be available to travel to Camden, Gloucester, Burlington, and Atlantic counties

Salary Range: $30-45/hour
