Intensive In-Community Therapist (IIC)

Awakening Change Counseling Services LLC is looking for IIC Therapists to provide clinically supervised, in-home, behavioral health interventions for youth, young adults, and/or their families/caregivers. The IIC will assist families with meeting the goals identified by the primary clinician with the goal of strengthening skills in a variety of life domains including, but not limited to:

1. Physical and mental well-being;
2. Interpersonal communications and relationships;
3. Social interactions;
4. Behavioral conduct;
5. Adaptive coping strategies and behaviors; and
6. Recreational/leisure activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing regularly scheduled services to youth and families in the family’s home and/or in their community
• Developing and implementing culturally sensitive, individualized, treatment plans to meet youth and family’s clinical needs
• Becoming an active participant in the youth and family’s Child and Family Team
• Documenting youth’s progress via an electronic record system

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a Human Services related discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Behavioral Health, etc.)
• Current NJ license for independent behavioral health practice (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) preferred – LAC’s are welcome to apply
• Minimum of 2 years working with youth and families
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current insurance
• Must be available to travel to Camden, Gloucester, Burlington, and Atlantic counties

Salary Range: $60-85/hour
