Awakening Change Counseling Services LLC is a small group psychotherapy practice primarily serving BIPOC men and women in search of assistance navigating life’s challenges. We are currently seeking therapists with late afternoon/evening availability for 10-15 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct intake interviews and biopsychosocial assessment to determine presenting issues and diagnosis
- Facilitate individual psychotherapy sessions with individuals on assigned caseload
- Assist clients in developing measurable treatment goals and objectives
- Monitor client progress and adjusts clinical approach as necessary
- Complete and maintain accurate records and reports regarding the clients’ histories and progress, services provided, and other required information
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in a counseling-related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience including, but limited to intake, case management, and/or individual counseling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
